The best boudin! I've had boudin and other food here before so I know it's good. My sister came over for a visit from Texas and I was able to take her here for some good boudin. Very friendly and quick service. The next day she went to Heberts down the road to try theirs; while it was good we all agreed Chops is better. Only thing that would be nicer is a drive through.
Deli is in the back of the store, service was good. Came here to try their plate lunch, but was more satisfied with their delicious boudin. The plate lunch was good, but the boudin really took the cake.
Cracklins are one of my favorite snacks, and I've eaten hundreds of varieties from pretty much everywhere, and the cracklins from Chops are among the best. They are consistently fresh, warm, and well-seasoned. It's hard to put the bag down! Boudin, on the other hand, is pretty mediocre.
The place is really great, the customer service that I received is even better. So far all I got was the Boudin and it was great. My customer was really pleased. I'll be back for some more I'm sure. It's a little bit out-of-the-way but worth the drive.
